Join an experienced search and rescue volunteer and his friend as they discuss all things related to hiking and search and rescue in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This week we enter fall and it is foliage season. Stomp is going to give everyone a refresh on his fall foliage tips for October as we enter what better be a spectacular leaf peeping season given how much rain we’ve received. We’ll have the trails, the drives and the secret spots to check out to avoid the crowds and find the views. All this plus a Xylo the cat update, a History segment, a mystery segment and a hiking drama segment - For history we learn about Benjamin Ball of Ball Crag fame on Mount Washington, for mystery we learn about the strange disappearance of Kevin Race on Mount Washington and for hiking drama we discuss the 32 Feet Up family who are currently hiking the AT. But wait there's more - Taylor Swift breaks the NFL, The Bachelor is letting elderly people compete, and recent search and rescue news.
